Great experience with Boutique Tours! They customized the tour to work with our young children. Our kids were hesitant about biking at first but by the end they didn’t want to stop. This was the perfect activity for sightseeing while getting some physical activity.
Our last day in France was absolutely unforgettable! The bike tour through Versailles with Boutique Tours & Clara as our guide was magical!! It was amazing to ride through town, take in the history of Louis XIV & Marie Antoinette, and enjoy the stunning palace gardens.
Stopping at the local farmers market & picking up fresh items for a picnic by the Grand Canal was so picturesque — a perfect way to soak up the ambiance of the city. After lunch we toured the Queens Hamlet. It felt like stepping back in time as we listened to Clara tell detailed stories of the royals!! This was such a historic and beautiful place to explore!

She stitched the story of all the Louis' into the tour in a way that didn’t feel like just a recitation of facts & left our whole family looking forward to the next part of the story. The market was amazing. The tour also took us to places around the Versailles that we wouldn’t have visited on our own. This was a phenomenal value and a great way to spend a day around Paris. Finally, the ultimate testament to how good the tour was came when my kids (13,15) enthusiastically and spontaneously retold the story of Versailles to their friends when we returned home.

Our guide was fantastic-excellent English, engaging and entertaining history/facts throughout the tour, made sure to keep us all safe and comfortable during the biking without being intrusive. Facilitated train trips, shopping at the market for picnic supplies, and picnicking by the Grand Canal in a kind and thoughtful manner.
